With proper cleaning, menstrual cups are very durable and can be used for several years. Between uses, just clean the cup with a damp cloth or water. After each period, you should boil the cup in boiling water for 3 minutes.

How do I use the period cup correctly?

There are several techniques for using the menstrual cups. We recommend pressing the rim in slightly or folding the cup - if you have difficulties doing that, you can also use a few drops of lubricant. Once inserted, the cup unfolds to fit your contours.

How to use - Your menstrual cup fits securely

Wash your hands thoroughly before insertion. Fold the menstrual cup, for example using the C-fold or punch-down fold, insert it into the vagina in a relaxed way and let it open up there. It unfolds and sits correctly when you can no longer feel it. A slight twist or a gentle pull on the stem helps you check the seal.

To remove it, wash your hands again, gently squeeze the cup to release the suction, and pull it out carefully. Empty, rinse and reinsert it - every 4 to 8 hours depending on the heaviness of your period.
